Business Cards

The business card is the most powerful marketing tool that you can invest in. It's compact, low-cost, low-tech, and keeps working for long after it leaves your hands. Some of the things your business card does:

  • Tell people who you are and what you do
  • Provide prospects with a way to contact you
  • Give others a taste of your work, style and personality
  • It is often passed from person to person, giving the same message to each person who comes in contact with it

In the design of marketing material for your business, it's important that the layouts are stylized in a similar way so that your company and it's products or services are recognizable at a glance. The same logo used on your website should be used on your business cards, and the same color schemes and graphic enhancements should be used as well. When the styles are not cohesive, your business looks less professional, and your character becomes tarnished. When designing a new website, or redesigning an old website, it is important to make sure that your business cards are updated as well.

Brochures, Flyers, & Postcards

Marketing is an important part of your business. Whether you are trying to attract new customers, or make announcements to existing customers, your ability to market your products and services is the lifeline of your business. A business card is a great way to get your contact information into the hands of your prospects, but sometimes more information is required.

Brochures

Brochures are a great way to get detailed information into a compact area using rich full-color graphics. Brochures are great for handouts at trade shows and expos, or for display racks on you customer service desk or checkout counter. Brochures tell your customer about products and services they may not be aware that you offer. Brochures are often passed on to business colleagues, friends, and family members which increases your ability to take advantage of word-of-mouth advertising to it's fullest.

Flyers

Flyers are a great way to get highlighted information about your company out to the general public. Flyers are generally done in black & white, although they can be done in full color. Flyers can be part of a mass-marketing campaign, or a target-market campaign. They can be used to make "one time only" announcements regarding sales and special events, or they can be used to announce permanent changes. Flyers are a great low-cost vehicle for marketing your business.

Postcards

Postcards are a great way to get highlighted information about your company out to the general public using rich full-color graphics. They can be used as mailers or as handouts. In some cases, depending upon your industry or your target audience, special announcement must be made in a very classy way. Sometimes a flyer can be viewed by your prospects as unprofessional. In these cases, postcards are a wonderful choice. They come in a multitude of sizes, and they can be made single or double sided, high gloss or matte finish.

Logo Design

creating your business image

What A Logo Means

Your logo is a graphical representation of what your company stands for. It evokes and inspires emotions that are relevant to your company and to your industry. Your logo should catch people's attention, inspire confidence, and depict your company's image.

When designing a logo, I allow my creativity to flow while following a few simple guidelines to ensure the logo represents your business perfectly. These guidelines include:

  • Balancing simplicity with elegance
  • Ensuring the logo is free of clutter and easy to read
  • The logo must be recognizable
  • It should look good in black and white
  • Elements of the logo should complement one another
  • The design should look timeless
  • The logo should invoke feelings pertinently to your business
  • Consideration to the different places and ways that the logo will be used

How Your Logo Is Designed

Because your logo is such a defining aspect of your business, I work with you one-on-one to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your design. Only this level of attention will ensure that the logo reflects the personality of your business. I listen to your ideas and gather all the necessary information about your business before laying out the initial concept. During the design process, you are given the opportunity to offer your feedback which ensures that your logo is truly the logo you desire.

It is very important to consider the different ways the logo will be presented. For example, if it is going to be implemented in a multimedia presentation, it may be necessary to create a logo that will work with motion effects and other action elements to add character. It's important to know if it's going to be engraved or etched so that the logo is attractive in an outline form. The software used to create your logo allows the design to be exported in a multitude of file formats; allowing the design to be directly imported for print, silk screening, embroidery, CNC milling, plasma cutting, and virtually any other application imaginable with pixel perfect precision.
